Is it possible to prioritise certain cards over others in anki,like for an examination?

    No something like card A has priority 1/5
    card B has 2/5
    and so on

    As far as I know, Anki has no such feature. The section of the manual to which I linked is the best you can do.

    Here is the Feature:
    Quote from the Manual :
    " They can be used .... for studying particular Tags."

    I would make 5 Filtered Sub-decks ( as Dave suggested ) - one for each Priority.

    Sorry to say, but this is NOT a workaround but a Designed feature;
    i use it a lot and have no complains - very rare occasion :-).

    If you want to make suggestions about new features, a better place for them is in the "Anki (Computer Version)" forum, where Damien, the developer, will see them.
