Med school
Hey guys I'm a third-year med student and wanted to try Anki for my next exams. What's the best known Anki strategy for meds and are there any common Anki tips for meds?
Also, why is the Mac version free and the iPad version not?
Thanks in advance

Hi Swaggaboy.
Here are 2 more videos ( of very good quality ).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRY1rYxd9EM This video topics:
1 How to use Cloze deletion
2 What to put in Anki and what not - 4 categories
3 Med school specifics
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDiKy3ztlnM This is a reliable alternative to
the Image occlusion add-on; it uses Screen copies later edited in PDF - before adding them to Anki. Very impressive !
In addition to these 2 tools ( Cloze and Occlusion ) , i'd recommend learning:
1. How to design multiple-cards Notes -- to keep the related bits of info together and to get other handy options in cards management.
2. How to use Hints ( in Normal cards, in addition to Cloze cards ).
3. Custom and Filtered decks - all options
PS. I think if you provide specifics of what you are going to study, other med students will find time to share their practical tips , do's and dont's; especially their Notes design.
In the past, i remember seeing such cards in the old Google forum - which is still available.
