Hi,

Have anyone considered adding gamification* elements to Anki?

i.e. that you get points for doing well, reaching levels as you go through the things you need to remember, etc.

If not, can anyone recommend a spaced repetition website or app. with gamification elements?

Thanks,
Mads

On the addons page you can find something called "Anki Strategy." It
is version one, but the most developed thing so far. The writer of it
said that he may develop it some more, but hasn't done anything with it
in a few months, all that to say, it is decent now, and has the
potential to get better if he develops it more.

    HabitRPG

Someone wrote an add-on to integrate it with Anki, but last I checked it was broken.
Still a pretty neat thing though.

    Edit: Here's a fixed version! https://github.com/eshapard/AnkiHRPG

You can check out Study Pact. Basically, you vouch money for your own assiduity. The money lost by those who failed their pact is redistributed among those who accomplished it.

Also, I've written an addon called "Progress graph", that shows how many cards&notes you know. I find "beating the 1000-mark" pretty motivating, and I believe it counts as gamification.

(If you learn Chinese, you have similar graphs for the number of characters and notes in the Chinese Support add-on).

Update: AnkiHRPG is a working integration of Anki with HabitRPG.
