Im a Linux newbie but I finally was able to install the Linux version of Anki on my Samsung Chromebook Plus. It works perfectly on my chromebook through the Linux Beta except Im unable to add images saved on my downloads folder from files in chromeOS to my cards through drag/drop or copy & paste. After any of these attempts the program freezes. Im guessing that Anki is unable to recognize files from my chromeOS files side. I also tried sharing my downloads folder with Linux but it does not appear to solve my problem. Is there any way to make Anki running on Linux Beta on a chromebook to be able to access files from the dowloads folder on the chromebook? Thanks in advance!

I have no experience with Chromebooks I'm afraid. I'll move your question to the community forum, as perhaps a community member is able to help you out.
