Copyright/Creative Commons: Are Anki decks considered "fair use"?

So I'm working on a deck for a vocabulary that should be aided by pictures. I'd like to share it later with the community, and I'm using only images from Wikipedia that are licensed under Creative Commons. When I copy them, a popup opens that says I have to attribute the author. Their FAQs say when it's "fair use" I don't have to do that.

The decks are free, it's for personal learning, Anki is free (except for an app version on some platform I think). So is it "fair use"?

@Morg: Great question. I hope someone knows the answer. (-a fellow anki user)

I guess the simplest solution is just add at each image attribution text.
Suppose it's not a huge problem and it got you covered.
