Can someone help with how to create a launcher shortcut on Linux. Have just installed Anki 2.1.11 via the terminal. It runs no problem. However, it IS NOT in the app drawer, and on Synaptic it does not show as an installed programme (maybe this is because it was a manual install instead of from a repo). I'm running Ubuntu 18.04 with a Cinnamon desktop. Thanks for any advice.

Here's what I use on Xubuntu 16.04.6 for Anki 2.0.47:

    /usr/bin/anki -p 'User 1' &

I invoke it from the command line.

There's also a menu launcher, for which the command is simply "anki" (without the quotes). My desktop is XFCE (Xubuntu default).
