Regarding the font, it seems similar to https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3743993/ in encouraging people to pay a bit more attention. Whether it's worth the tradeoffs or not, I don't know.

I've used it for 3 months and have not seen any remarkable improvement in retention worth the headache it caused me.
Do make sure to get familiar with each character before using it. I mistakenly remembered NS5B as NS58 since 8 and B looked similar in the font.
