Forgetting too many matures?

Hi Anki peeps:

I've been using my main deck consistently for several years now. I just checked my "lifetime" stats for the first time in a while. They are:
Correct Learning: 80.27%
Correct Young: 89.55%
Correct Mature: 80.17%
So my correct mature rate is actually slightly LOWER than my correct learning rate!
I don't know ... is this normal?!? Seems kind of sad. Anybody else notice a similar pattern?

Thanks,
Ray

It's a little on the low side. Are you often late to answer some cards? Is
the material following the minimum information principle? Is it material
you have a chance to use outside of Anki, and feels useful, or trivia that
is hard to justify? You can use the interval multiplier option to slightly
increase review frequency if you wish, though it will mean you'll need to
    review more often instead.
