Can anyone help me with a CSS question?
Hello Anki Users (who I hope all know CSS much better than me),
I am trying to do something that seems like it should be fairly simple, but for which I have not been able to figure out. I am trying to replace/swap text with a hover or mouseover. I'm trying to accomplish something similar to what the hint field does, but just a little bit different.
One of my fields in my note is "Sample Sentence" (it includes a sample sentence of the vocabulary being learned)
One my card, I want the word "Sample" to appear. And then when I hover over or mouseover the word "Sample" I want it to be replaced with the content from my "Sample Sentence" field. Then when I move the mouse away I want it to go back to saying "Sample"
I know this is quite possible, because there is a bunch of stuff online about ".hover" and ."onmouseover," etc, but I cannot figure them out, particularly what to split up between the styling section vs the front/back template.
Thanks very much in advance to anyone who is able to help me with this.
