hi there
i've just started using Anki for about 3 days, and i noticed that for every day that i do my reviews, i never get tested on anything new, even though i add about ~15 new cards a day. Rather, all i get is just the old stuff that i added from day 1. is this normal? do i need to change any settings? i feel like i'm not learning as much as i should be and am worried that somewhere somehow my settings are off (perhaps something like amount of new cards to study setting?)

thank you!

It's hard to say without more information. If you're answering 'again' or 'hard' a lot, that will cause the cards to appear more frequently for review. You may also have Anki configured to show the cards in forward>back and back>forward direction, which would result in the same content being presented different ways.
