Is there a way to effectively use anki without the desktop version?

I'm using Anki for about a year now which included the desktop version as well as ankidroid.

Now I'm on a mobile android device only and just noted that I can't create new cards for my needs now. I use different sources to get audio files for foreign languages but on ankidroid you can only browse your device for images but not audio files and on ankiweb there's no way to upload neither images nor sound files.

So, is there another way to create multimedia flashcards without the desktop version?

Have you tried posting your question at the AnkiDroid support site?
