Hi all,

A data center AnkiWeb's servers are hosted in has experienced multiple problems with a core router, causing parts of AnkiWeb to become unavailable for some users.

Hardware issues do occasionally happen, but in this case the issue has reoccurred multiple times - something we have not seen before in the 8+ years of using this data center.

Update Thu Jul 5 14:10:42 UTC 2018

The data center have investigated, determined that this time the affected server was offline due to an issue unrelated to the previous router issues, and service has been restored.

Update Thu Jul 5 13:34:12 UTC 2018

The router issue has reoccurred, and we are waiting for the data center to address it.

Update Tue Jul 3 19:41:33 UTC 2018

The router issue reoccurred, but this time the data center had the issue resolved within 15 minutes.

Update Tue Jul 3 11:11:35 UTC 2018

One of the servers is inaccessible again ... and now it's back.

Update Tue Jul 3 10:57:06 UTC 2018

Connectivity to the servers has been restored and the site is back up.

Update Tue Jul 3 10:18:14 UTC 2018

The router has gone down again, and we're waiting for the data center to fix the problem. This time it has taken out an essential server, so all AnkiWeb functionality is offline until connectivity can be restored.
