Browser refuses to recognize account

When I try to login on Anki Web, it tells me no account with the email address exists, even though I have it in app format on my laptop and phone.

I clicked sign up, and just made another account with the EXACT same username and password, and none of my decks are there. I'm going to delete that account.

Why does the browser do this? This happened in the apps, but I just changed my password and few times, the iOS app created another device (that my account is synced with), and it just fixed itself somehow.

    Perhaps you are using a different app?

    AnkiApp is not part of the Anki ecosystem
