Feature Request: A rehearsal mode only

Hi,

I'm usually learning my cards while commuting back and forth to work. When I come back home I would really like to be able to activate a "rehearsal mode only", e.g. only the cards that are to be repeated for the day are being presented.
The new cards and due cards' counter are then respectively reset to 0 until the day after.

For instance let's say that as I arrived to work I had the following progress:
New 12 / To Rehearse 42 / Due 21

I would want to enable this mode so that I'm only introduced with the 42 cards to be rehearsed.

Does this feature exist already? Otherwise it would be very practical!

Thanks!

By design, Anki shows Learning cards first; ( pls dont use the 'rehearse' term ).

Do you use steps which would expire Tomorrow ?
What are they ? I assume you have Anki 2.0,
What is your "Learn Ahead Limit" in Preferences ?

    Hi!

    And thanks for your reply!

So yes if I don't happen to dequeue all the remaining Learning cards on a
specific day they will then be postponed to the day after, technically it's
    fine.
However the new and due cards' counters are also reset and it becomes a bit
of vicious circle sometimes where I'm trying to get those Learning cards
done but I'm also "spammed" with new and due cards.

I would like the opportunity to tell the app: "please for now let me just
focus on learning cards, don't put any new nor due cards on the stack until
    further notice".

Hope this is clarifying my use case?

    Cheers,
    Armand

    If i understood it correctly,
you can change the both Limits to zero.
When the message " done for now" pops up, you may switch the limits back.

    Would it work for you?

Yes I believe this would work.

Is there an easy workaround so far for this? Or do you think this feature
    will be backlogged "soon"?

    Cheers
