Dear Anki:

I searched for these answers in the manual, articles, and forum but could not find an answer.

What edits will take a Review card and reset it to a New card?

1. Bulk tags: Yesterday I made changes to about 150 cards by bulk assigning tags and bulk removing tags. Would that reset a Review card to New?

2. Changed Notes. I removed extra, unused fields from some of my customized notes. Would that reset?

3. Is there a written list of edits that cause a reset?

Thank you.

Sincerely,
James

No changes you make in the browser except Rescheduling should ever reset a
*review* card to new. Suspending and burying will reset a learning card to
new, however (this is not the best behavior and will eventually change, but
    it's not simple to fix).

Editing the data on a note (including tags) will never cause any change to
the card's schedule regardless of its state.

    Dear Soren:

    Thank you for this reply.

I should have said so earlier so you could close the ticket.

    Sincerely,
