Duplicates being generated and I don't know why

Hi,

After about three weeks of practicing several of my decks, suddenly all the cards seemed to have been duplicated. I selected Edit > Find Duplicates and deleted the duplicates... but, now those decks are empty because it seems I deleted all the cards. I remember carefully going through and deleting one of the two cards for each duplicate, but now they are all gone.

I just created a different, new deck and imported new cards for it, yet after reviewing all of them one time they now all seem to be duplicated. When the next card appears, over it it says 'Edit to Customize,' something I haven't seen until this duplicate problem started.

In fact, in the Browse window almost every card in every deck has a duplicate. Can someone help me figure out what's going on?

Thank you. I looked in Edit > Cards and there are two types of Cards, 'Card 1' and 'Card 2.' Card 2 is just a duplicate of Card 1 but with 'Edit to Customize' at the top. When were these cards generated? I never went in and added a Card 2 type.

How do I delete all these duplicates without deleting the originals?

If you don't recall adding that extra card yourself, it's possible you
picked it up from a shared deck. You can remove it via the More button
    at the bottom.

I chose More > Delete Note and it said something like 'note and it's two cards deleted,' and now both the duplicate and the original are gone.

Sorry, you need to click Edit, Cards, select the card 2 tab, and then
use the More button in the screen.

Wow, that did it. How do you think they got created in the first place?

If you're sure you didn't press the plus button, it likely came from
when you added a shared deck.
