Created a Card Template "Vocab-Verbs", but deck keeps showing Card Template: Vocabulary for some cards

It is weird. I click a deck. Say Add card. Template is Vocab-Verbs (correct). Then I go to Browse. select an individual card, then click Cards button. Some cards show Vocabulary as Card Template and others show Vocab-Verbs?

It is like the deck has mixed Card Templates or something. I treid renaming and moving the deck. Renaming the Templates. Using new templates. Weird.

As far as I can see, this is what it should do: one card is being generated
for each of the card types you have defined for that note type in the
Cards... window. Thus, one of the cards generated from that note has the
first card type, and one has the second.

Is there any way to get all the cards in the deck to be the same? I thought once you selected a template type it was the same for the whole deck. If what you are saying is correct, then how do I change the card template type for an already created card? (I am guessing I cannot).

You've figured it out, but for future reference, templates are connected to
note types, which are connected to individual cards, not decks. (More
technically, there is a many-to-many relationship between note types and
decks—a deck can have one or more note types, and a note type can be used
    in one or more decks.)
