Not Responding After Trying to Add a Card

Good afternoon,

Whenever I try to add a card, the screen that pops up where you usually add the card says not responding. I have logged out, uninstalled and reinstalled, changed accounts, etc... nothing seems to be working.

    1. Try to reproduce the issue by disabling all add-ons in the Tools - Add-ons and restarting Anki, or holding down the shift key.

      Please close Anki, then start it again while holding down the shift key, which will disable any add-ons you have installed.

    2. Check your database

      After restarting Anki, please try the Tools>Check Database menu item to make sure your collection doesn't have any problems.

    3. Maybe try to turn on/off hardware acceleration in the Tools - Preferences and restarting Anki.

    What is your Anki version? You can try installing the latest version from https://apps.ankiweb.net/
