Hint fields not working inside cards

After upgrading to newer versions of Anki, both on PC and Android, it seems like hint fields no longer work if they're inside the cards themselves as opposed to the card template

   What is the latest version you updated to? What is your operating system?

   Please see When problems occur and try disabling any addons you may have installed.

   Hint functionality was never meant to be used inside a field but on the card template. This issue has been discussed earlier in this post.

   I see, many thanks Guillem. I guess the expected way to include hidden parts, which vary in amount and location from card to card, is with JavaScript then?

   1. How to create 4 notes for an entry and show all notes to me?
