Unable to switch profile sync or do anything, only use anki on laptop. I get this error. When i try to switch profile, or quit the app, I get stuck on 'backing up' for hours and it never stops, even though my collection is relatively small.
An error occurred. Please use Tools > Check Database to see if that fixes the problem.
If problems persist, please report the problem on our support site. Please copy and paste the information below into your report.

Your collection is corrupt, so you'll need to restore from an automatic backup: Restoring an Automatic Backup (Recovering from Data Loss)

doesn't let me switch profile, I'm always stuck on backing up..

Please manually rename your User 1 folder, then start Anki again. https://apps.ankiweb.net/docs/manual.html#file-locations
