Anki unable to open my collection file help! My most recent backup was from two months ago apparently my Anki has been broken for a while and I don't want to lose everyhting

Anki was unable to open your collection file. If problems persist after restarting your computer, please use the Open Backup button in the profile manager.

    I also was given this prompt when I went into preferences
    Anki 2.1.11 (3cf770c7) Python 3.6.7 Qt 5.12.1 PyQt 5.11.3
    Platform: Mac 10.14.6

    Were you syncing with AnkiWeb? If so, you may be able to recover your data from there.

    Backups are created each time you close Anki, so I can not think of a reason why you would be missing them unless you had customized the backup preferences. Did you try the Open Backup button?
