Desktop Version Not Responding

The desktop version hangs when I try to open it. It goes through the sync process, then the program opens, but is unresponsive. I've uninstalled and re-installed it, but no joy.

This used to work. I'm using the 64 bit version for my Windows version 10.0.18362 OS.

    I had tried all of that prior to submitting my support ticket, and had attached an image of what the program looked like when it booted up.

    However, when I started the program while holding the shift key down in order to generate the error message, it booted up just fine. I immediately shut it down and opened it again without the shift key, and now it seems to work fine.

    Whatever holding the shift key down does, it fixed my problem. Thanks.
