I just updated to the newest beta version - Version 2.1.8 (71e0c880)
But I am still getting this error message when attempting to export with scheduling
"Please switch to the regular scheduler..."

You'll need to switch to the regular scheduler before exporting with scheduling information.

Is it planned to support exporting with the new scheduling?
I suggest to mention that the export with scheduling info does not work on https://anki.tenderapp.com/kb/anki-ecosystem/experiment-scheduling-changes-in-anki-21 . I had a hard time to find this discussion.
If export works was also asked on https://www.reddit.com/r/Anki/comments/a5a4bk/exporting_with_v2_scheduling/ , so we are at least 3 asking this question.

Just for completeness:
I just found out that import with scheduling does not work when experimental V2 scheduler is enabled. (You'll need to switch to the regular scheduler for this as well. Or use sync instead of export and import.)
