Changes in one deck also affect an other deck...

Hi !

I'm using Anki 2.0.8 on Windows 7.
I created some decks on Anki 1 and I made the update to Anki 2 (no problems). Let's call them deck A and deck B. One is for English to
Japanese cards, and the other one for Japanese to English cards.

Then I created a new deck (deck C) on Anki 2.0.8 . It is for grammar points. So I wanted to make a deck for English grammar to Japanese grammar (C) and a deck for Japanese grammar to English grammar (D). As I didn't want to type again all the words, I tried to export card from deck C to deck D and then flip them. It worked well on Anki 1 but I couldn't found this option since Anki 2...

Finally I found an other way to do that in this video :
So I made 2 versions for each card Forward/Backward in order to use the "Change Deck" option (a kind of Cut/Paste) to move Backwards cards from deck C to deck D.

But when I checked in deck A, I saw that some of the cards of this deck also had 2 versions named Forward/Backward ! I never changed the names of the cards in this deck, it was still on "Recognition"... but now some of the cards had the name Forward and Backward. So I deleted the Backward one, and renamed the Forward one as "Recognition". But when I went back in the deck C, all the cards were renamed as "Recognition" ! If I flip them, that also flip the one in deck A (not all the cards).
But there isn't any change in deck B...

So, I think the deck C is linked with some of the card of the deck A.
Besides, the cards of the deck A which are linked to the deck C have a different date format from the other card from deck A and B.
The cards from Anki 1 have a "2012-08-04" date format, but the Anki 2 and some of the deck A cards have a "1342" date format...
Does anyone have a clue ? Why those cards are "linked" ? It is very troublesome...

Thank you.

I made a back up from ankiweb.
There are still cards in deck A that are linked with deck C, but not the same as before !
And this time, even some cards with "2012-08-04" date format seems to be linked to deck C...

It sounds like you have cards from multiple decks using the same note type. If you wish to make edits for only one deck, you will need to create more note types and use Actions>Change Note Type in the browser to give the cards in each deck different types.

As for the due date, please see
