Hello - I've been using Anki for several months now and it is a wonderful tool. However, despite having downloaded Anki 2.0.8 seven times now (and even deleting the other version of Anki from my desktop), I still have to re-download the new version EVERY time I want to use Anki. It's very frustrating, as it takes an extra 5-10 minutes everytime I want to use it. Any ideas as to how I can get my computer to override the old version once and for all? (Not sure whether it matters, but I use a Macbook.) Thanks, Tricia :)

After downloading the new version, please drag the icon into Applications, which is likely where you placed the old version. If that does not help, you can use the magnifying glass icon on the top right to search for Anki, to locate where you put it previously, and then remove it first.
