How to delete optional reverse cards?

I'm not understanding how this should be done. Another user asked something similar, and the answer seemed to be conditional replacement. But, I still don't understand how this should work. I remove the character in the "Add Reverse" field, and the card remains. The card was created with the conditional {{#Add Reverse}}{{Back}}{{/Add Reverse}}. But, that sees to have no effect.

Is there a video showing how this should work?

That sounds correct. Could you post a screenshot of the Cards and Fields

    Ok, I've attached

    1. The browser which shows the reverse card still existing.
    2. The fields window.
    3. The cards window showing card1
    4. The cards window showing card2 (reverse, with the {{#}} conditional on the front.

This is a minimal deck I created to test my understanding of how to delete an unwanted reverse card. I

    1. Created a new profile,
    2. Went into the default deck,
    3. Changed the note type to basic (optional reverse),
    4. Added two cards.
    5. Typed "Y" in the Add Reverse field of the first card.
    6. Removed "Y" from that field.

I couldn't see what to do next because the template for the reverse card was created by default with the {{#}} conditional.

I'm either misunderstanding what is supposed to happen, or something I need to do. I created this new question because I didn't want to hijack the topic of the other person (who, evidently, understood your instructions to his question -- which seemed identical to this, which I'm not understanding).

Check to make sure that there aren't any spaces / new-lines outside the conditional tags in your reverse card template...
