Hello everyone,

I am using ANKI on my desktop. During creating a new deck i deleted a item in an existing card format a few days ago. Can I find the stuff deleted back, without losing the record of learning?

thanks a lot

Anki takes automatic backups when you close it. Please see http://ankisrs.net/docs/manual.html#_backups

Also, you have posted the same question multiple times. Can you explain why you did that? Did the website give you an error?

thanks very much for answering my question.

Can I back up just one deck, not whole collection?

    Your question:
I have not got a error prompt, when I tried to post a question several times. And I can not delete the question that I created.

You can manually back up one deck if you wish, by exporting an apkg file. If you wish to restore only specific cards from an automatic backup, you can close Anki, make a manual backup of your entire collection (Documents/Anki/User 1/collection.apkg), restore the automatic backup, export the specific cards you want to restore to an apkg file, close Anki and restore your manual backup, and finally import the apkg file.
