Anki (Computer Version) →

I recently had need to utilise the us decks feature. I set this up ready for use last night. Upon opening Anki, not only had they had all disappeared, but my original main deck (over 6000 individually written cards) had switched into the default deck. Can please clarify how to get round this, without any risk to my main deck!
Also, are subdecks fully functional on the iPad app?

I have never heard of this happening, so I am not sure what
happened. Please try restoring from a backup and doing
Subdecks work correctly on all platforms.

I've since done some study. Would I lose anything bŷ trying to re-set up my subdecks again without restoring from a backup (and so losing my reviews)?

No, if you'd rather do that, that should work fine as well.

Cool. Thanks. It seems to be working now.
I can only assume it was a syncing error that made it happen.

Please let us know if it keeps happening for some reason.
