Crazy jumping in Mac OS X Dock during sync

After importing a large deck, Anki synced it during shutdown and performed a wild jumping show in the Dock during the process.

    We're aware of this issue, but I suspect it's a bug in the toolkit and it's not clear how it can be worked around.

    It's likely caused by the mw.progress.update() call in aqt/sync.py

    OK, looks like this is definitely a problem in Qt. In
    qeventdispatcher_mac.mm, -[NSApp beginModalSession:] is called more often
    than necessary because processPostedEvents calls
    temporarilyStopAllModalSessions, so the modal sessions are recreated on the
    next call to currentModalSession, which results in unnecessary jumping.

    Thanks for looking into it. I'm afraid Cocoa is outside my area of expertise, so I'm not sure what they should be doing here. Would you mind reporting the issue on the Qt issue tracker?
