That version should work (I'm pretty sure that was my version before I
updated). I'm just a user, by the way, not the developer. Occasionally
you get a bad audio file. You can download them directly with Firefox
browser (you may be able to with other browsers too, but I use Firefox -
best browser). The audio files are simply stored in a directory called
Collections and you can replace them. Here's my directory path (yours is
    probably similar): C:\Users\franl\AppData\Roaming\Anki2\User
1\collection.media. Does Anki create a file name when you make a card? If
it does you can simply name the downloaded audio file the name on your card
and it also works. I had to do that the other day after the upgrade. I'm
not sure why yours isn't working. I'm also not sure why the developer
isn't answering this. He was fabulous and helped me when I first started
using this add-on. Have you tried the support added into the add-on as per
the attached screenshot? It goes to a help forum. The forum looks like it
is pretty recent and questions are answered there. I think this is
probably where the developer is helping people.

I wish I could have been of more help.
    Good luck! :-)

    Hi,
There are two bugs I'm facing logged for this add on on github, but it looks like no one even checking it there, so I thought it might be a good idea to bring them up here.
First of all, the Naver Papago has stopped downloading sounds entirely, there is a Bad Request in the logs. I may be wrong, but I suspect that Naver has changed their API very recently.
Secondly, the text in Korean text field, when you make a request to the API during loosing focus of the field, seems not to be escaped and it crashes if there are single quotes placed in the text field. It is also not downloading any sounds if there are double quotes there (but at least it is not crashing then). More details are on the github, I hope the developer can take a look on this. Many thanks in advance!

Yes, I've found Papago has stopped working also. I've had to revert to the
false sounding Google man, then manually downloading the Papago audio
file. It's easy with Firefox, still, it's an extra series of clicks to get
    it.

Haven't had the crashing problem, but I don't use double quotes, and
perhaps I just haven't used single quotes (not sure - I have thousands of
    audios in my collection).

    Thanks in advance. :-)

This issue just started a few days ago. It takes very long to download audio from Google TTS. On certain words, it even leads to Anki becoming unresponsive. The only workaround is to set the text-to-speech engine to none for certain words.
